Our most popular combination of spaces for weddings incorporates a ceremony on the hill, cocktail hour in the
barn's front lawn, and dinner/dancing inside the barn as the sun sets, but there are plenty of wonderful possibilities depending on your scope and tone. When you book your event at Panorama, you will have access to all of our stunning site locations to customize your own event.

The Barn

In 2010 Panorama’s 3,600 ft² barn went through a series of renovations to transform it into a unique event space like no other in the area. Its warm wooden walls let in spectacular natural light while the concrete floor breaks up the rustic tones. Numerous configurations within the barn allow for seated dinners or stationed meals, while dedicated catering spaces keep dinner preparation hidden from your guests. The barn’s space can be extended by tenting the front lawn for dinner or cocktail hour, and additional lighting, drapes, and decor may be used to customize the interior for your event. The barn does not offer any temperature control but is protected from rain.

The Hill

Panorama’s featured location for ceremonies provides the backdrop for the property’s namesake. With panoramic views of the Blue Ridge, Carter, and Brown’s Mountain (which overlooks Thomas Jefferson’s Monticello), ceremonies on the hill make you feel miles away from everyday life. Clients may choose to use the on-site arch and may use tents to provide additional shade for guests in the warmer months.

The Grove

This charming grove of hardwood trees may be utilized for ceremonies or cocktail hours. Just 150 yards uphill from the barn, it provides an additional convenient space within walking distance of the barn and restroom facility. Afternoon shade on one side ensures guests will stay cool in warmer months, and the sunny side boasts views of the barn and the Blue Ridge.

Suites

The barn’s second floor bridal suite is full of character and provides the perfect backdrop for getting-ready photos. It is equipped with plenty of mirrors, seating, table space, fans, and a dressing screen.

Below the bridal suite is a multi-purpose room that may be used as a photo booth, band dressing room, or decor storage during an event. Suites are accessible from outside or the main floor of the barn.

Restroom Trailer

A luxury restroom trailer is included in all events. The unit contains separate facilities for men (1 stall, 2 urinals) and women (2 stalls), and is complete with heating, A/C, a sound system, and full-length mirrors.
